Police appeal for witnesses to stabbing in Bovingdon

Detectives are investigating an incident where a man in his 20’s was stabbed in his abdomen on Sunday, November 18. 

Police were called to Howard Agne Close, Bovingdon, at around 7pm where it was reported that two men were involved in altercation. 

The altercation, which started inside a home, further continued onto the street. The two men are believed to know each other.

The victim was taken into hospital and firearms officers attended the scene to carry out a search of the area. 

Detective sergeant, Paul Perkins, said: “We’d like to thank residents for their cooperation and understanding and reassure them that they are safe to go about their business as usual.

“Meanwhile, our enquiries are continuing and I am appealing to witnesses, or anyone with information about what happened, to please come forward.”
