Published on: 4th January 2022   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

Detectives investigating a burglary in Watford are appealing for information and witnesses.

It happened in North Approach between 7pm and 7.30pm on Friday 10 December 2021.

Offenders forced entry to the property and stole items of gold jewellery – including a diamond solitaire engagement and wedding ring set – and a rose gold coloured Samsung S6 phone.

They also took the keys to a blue Honda Civic parked on the driveway, which they used to steal the vehicle. The Honda is a blue colour and has a twin exhaust.

Detective Constable Debbie West, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, is investigating. She said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen a vehicle similar to the one stolen in this burglary recently, perhaps for sale online or locally?

“We have carried out extensive enquiries into this incident since it occurred, but if you have information you believe could be useful to our investigation, then please get in touch.”

You can email DC West at debbie.west@herts.police.uk, report information online at herts.police.uk/report, talk to one of the Force Communication Room operators via web chat at herts.police.uk/contact, or call the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 41/97050/21.

Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit their website www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
