One unanswered question which continues to puzzle the Croxley community and beyond is the matter of the Croxley Rail Link.
The rail link which proposes an extension of the Metropolitan line to provide better connectivity to the area, was due to be completed this year but with little sign this is going to happen, will it ever be completed?
One local resident recently uploaded a YouTube video discussing the dilemma and the video has since received over 1,000 views.
Henry Allum, who lives in Chalfont St Peter, started his YouTube channel Henry’s Adventures, in 2016 and since then has travelled round the country making videos, and has always been interested in the Croxley Rail Link.
He said: “It is something that has always interested me, there has always been talk that it is going to happen.
“I watched a video from 1996 where they said it was going to open soon and now it’s 2020.
“It’s one of those unanswered questions really, I thought it would be interesting to see people’s comments.”
Currently the Metropolitan line extends to the Watford Underground station and does not enter the town centre, the completion of the rail link would help connect other parts of Watford to London.
Henry added that if the work is ever completed it would benefit the area massively.
He said: “If you were to compare it to European cities, they have metro lines which continue out to serve the neighbouring large towns.
“It would open up so much more connectivity and give people a much more flexible transport reach.”
