There have been many inspiring stories in Berkhamsted this year, and now Machins Solicitors is adding to that long list.
Since COVID-19 hit, there has been a 76 per cent increase in demand for wills, but in November Machins Solicitors in Berkhamsted is waiving their fee for creating a will or even a pair of wills.
Instead, they are asking anyone that takes them up on their offer to make a donation to the Chilterns MS Centre.
It is part of the Make a Will Month, which they hope will help people to sort out their affairs at a reduced cost.
Lisa McBrearty, from Machins Solicitors, said: “It’s so important to make a will to ensure that your wishes are put into effect.
“This is the perfect opportunity to make or update your will whilst also supporting the fantastic work done by the Chilterns MS Centre.”
Sharon Cooper, from the charity, said: “Having Machins on board as part of this scheme is great, as it not only supports the Centre but their local community too.”
