The Pinner & Northwood Business Club (PNBC) have organised an evening which will give a chance for local people to hear both sides of the European Union Referendum debate. Ahead of polling day on Thursday June 23 where the UK will decide whether it wants to remain in the EU or leave, the PNBC have brought together some big hitting political figures to share their views. Councillor and PNBC Committee Member Norman Stevenson, one of the organisers of the event which is called ‘Pinner Decides’ explained more: He said: “It will be a ‘Question Time’ style evening held at Pinner Village Hall on Tuesday 14 June. “There will be an audience of 120 local residents who will direct questions to a panel featuring prominent representatives from the ‘Britain Stronger In Europe’ and the ‘Vote Leave’ campaigns. “ Entry is by pre-booking only which people can do via the link found on the Home Page of the PNBC website at http://www.pinner-northwoodbusclub.org.uk/. No admittance will be allowed on the door. A nominal ticket price of £5 per person will apply and funds raised from ticket sales will go directly to a local charity. This is sure to sell out fast so I encourage people to book early” The evening will be facilitated by Les Conway, chairman of the PNBC. He said: “This is a great opportunity before the big day for people to hear the different sides of the argument, get their questions answered and ultimately feel informed about their decisions. It promises to be an interesting evening.”
