A Pinner charity was given a Christmas present to remember when a Harrow based company donated an executive box for them to enjoy a Disney show on Boxing Day. Simply Spaces, a new serviced office centre in Pinner Road, gave members and volunteers from Friends for Friends the gift when the work of the charity was brought to their attention. Friends for Friends bring adults with learning disabilities together with volunteers to encourage companionship and build invaluable friendships. A delighted Adrian Ratnayake, who works for the charity said: “When I was told about Simply Spaces offer I almost fell off my chair. It’s a staggeringly generous donation and everyone here is really grateful. “It will be a magical experience for our members and really makes Christmas that bit more special.” The donation means 24 members and volunteers involved with the charity will get to see Disney on Ice – 100 Years of Magic at the o2 centre. Paul David Munnelly (pictured), Director of Simply Spaces, said: “When we heard about the fantastic work Friends for Friends do locally we asked if they would be our charity partner. “I’m delighted we have made so many people from the charity happy. Being involved in the community is a big part of what Simply Spaces is all about and we have more events planned over the next 12 months.” Simply Spaces opens in January following a £250,000 investment and is providing local businesses with stylish, state of the art offices. It also has meeting rooms for hire as well as virtual offices. For more information visit www.simplyspaces.co.uk or call 0203 126 4266.
