A schoolgirl from Bushey has gone above and beyond to produce an oversized piece of art in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Macie Belasco, eight, who is passionate about art, spent more than 14 hours putting the together the art which features a painting of the Queen.
The oversized portrait also features British food packaging featuring the Union Jack after Macie noticed lots of the celebratory designs at the supermarket.
Speaking to BusheyNews, her mum Natalie, said: “She is really creative and in her spare time her go to is arts and crafts.
“They are doing a lot at school about the jubilee and she decided to do it for a bit of fun.
“She’s written a letter to the Queen to ask what her favourite food is. She would really like it go on display somewhere locally and help raise money for charity.”
