PERFECT VIEW: Watford Nordic walkers share picturesque sights in Abbots Langley

Published on: 11th December 2020   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

The Nordic Walking Watford group have shared a stunning photo with us, taken during an Abbots Langley stroll.

The local group, which has helped plenty of Abbots and Watford residents stay busy during the pandemic, took this scenic snap on one of their recent outings in the village.

Tracy Reeve, lead walk instructor, said: “It was a lovely, misty morning. Abbots Langley is one of our regular walk venues – we meet in the village car park and on this occasion our first group headed over the fields behind Abbots Road, crossing over the M25 towards Bedmond.

“In Bedmond village, we turn down East Lane and then across more fields to bring us back to Love Lane before head back into Abbots Langley.  The second group did the same route in reverse.

“Our COVID guidelines mean that we can still get outside, stay healthy and gain the physical and mental benefits of Nordic walking.”
