Grim’s Dyke Golf Club (GDGC) in Pinner have celebrated a successful summer after taking home several pieces of silverware.
The Tigers team secured the treble after winning the County Cup, League 1 and The Tigers Bullivant Bowl on Sunday, September 24.
With a set of wins already under their belt, the GDGC men headed for the Abrey Cup final, a knockout competition for the top clubs in Middlesex Golf, on Tuesday, September 26.
The final clash was between GDGC and Wyke Green Golf Club, and GDGC came out as the victors with a winning score of 5-4.
The Rabbits team also went on to win the Stanley West Final on Thursday, September 28.
Club captain Gill Smith said: “What a summer! What fantastic results we have had as a club! The atmosphere in the clubhouse is amazing; I can’t remember one Sunday that I haven’t been in the bar to celebrate either the Tigers, the Foxes or the Rabbits’ successes.
“The inclusivity of our club has created a winning formula somehow. Of course, it’s all down to the club having its first female club captain!”
