Local favourite community pub The Woodman, Ruislip, is set to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning tomorrow (Saturday, November 4) from 10am to 12pm to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The coffee morning will be a chance for the local community to get together and enjoy tea, coffee and cake whilst supporting an important cause, which Steve, the pub’s licensee, holds close to his heart. The Mayor of Hillingdon will also be in attendance to show his support.
The Woodman is a true community hub, having won multiple awards including London and Southeast Divisional pub of the year at the internal Stars of Stonegate Awards and also Stonegate Group’s Pub of the Year.
Steve is continually striving to bring the community together and fundraise for charity and the upcoming coffee morning aims to bring the locals together and fundraise for Macmillian, which provides services for those battling cancer.
Steve said: “We are excited to be hosting a coffee morning for such an incredible charity which provides so many important services.
“The team and I can’t wait to see everyone there enjoying coffee and cake as a community and we hope to raise as much as we can to support Macmillan.”
