Police have cracked down on illegal parking in Amersham town centre, and have issued a reminder to residents of the rules.
Officers from Thames Valley Police noticed two cars parked along Sycamore Road on July 26.
The cars were parked illegally on the zig-zag lines of the zebra crossing.
On social media, the police said: “We were out on the beat when we spotted this vehicle parked on the Sycamore Road zebra crossing zig-zag lines.
“As we were dealing with the driver for this offence, you can imagine our surprise when a second pulled up and stopped right next to it! Both have been reported and could receive points on their licences.
“A timely reminder that zig-zag lines are there for everyone’s safety. Please do not park on them.”
