Mini Monets Art School in Amersham raised more than £2,500 for charity with a unique event last month.

The children’s art school, located in Market Hall on the High Street, held their Art Fest on Sunday, June 6 at New Barn Farm in Seer Green.

The afternoon saw visitors “celebrate the art of creative living” – there were refreshments, raffle prizes, art activities, a bake off and a dog show. There was also an exhibition by the students at the school.

In a statement, the school said: “We are so delighted with the fundraising from last weekend – over £2,500 raised for ovarian cancer charities and The Dogs Trust – thank you!

“Big thanks to all our sponsors and to Alena Dudderidge for the great photos at the beautiful New Barn Farm in Seer Green, who opened their doors to their 16 acres for the afternoon.”
