Three Pinner Safe Havens are now among 21 locations across Harrow which are offering support for women and girls.
Originally launched to support those feeling scared, harassed or threatened, Harrow Council announced the addition of seven more venues on Monday, July 7.
The free, confidential spaces are staffed by trained individuals and provide immediate help.
Developed in partnership with the Safer Business Network, the initiative was created in response to feedback to a Safer Spaces Survey. The council has set the aim of opening 25 sites by March 2026.
Councillor Pritesh Patel, portfolio holder for cleaner streets and public safety, said: “Every new Safe Haven space is a commitment to making Harrow a safer and more supportive place for everyone who lives, works and visits our borough.
“If you ever find yourself feeling scared or threatened, these safe places will open their doors to you and offer support.”
