Residents have raised concerns over a building site in Croxley, which has caused a number of parking problems and left roads covered in mud.
Residents were frustrated by issues allegedly caused by works at the Grove Court development, where 42 residential apartments are being built.
At a meeting on Wednesday, February 12, James Lindley from Howarth Contractors met with district councillors Narinder Sian and Chris Mitchell, alongside parish councillor Natalie Reed.
During the meeting, Howarth Contractors committed to “ongoing maintenance”, and mud is now regularly being cleared from the roads.
The parking situation has been exacerbated by builders working on home improvements and reportedly a car dealer parking stock in the area.
To ensure continued improvements, a regular point of contact has been established between the councillors and contractors to address any new concerns.
Speaking to CROXLEYnews, cllr Mitchell said: “It’s great to see real progress being made. By working together, we can minimise disruption and ensure this development is managed responsibly.”
