Kings Langley FC have showed their continued support for a campaign against sexism in sport.
The club hosted their Her Game Too (HGT) match against Barton Rovers on Saturday, March 1.
They also confirmed their captain Isaac Pedro as their new HGT ambassador. In a post on X on Thursday, February 13, Kings Langley said Isaac would be taking on the role from previous skipper Sam Murphy.
Speaking to the club after being confirmed as the new HGT ambassador, Isaac said: “I was honoured to be asked to be this year’s HGT ambassador.
“It’s great to see so many girls being given access to football by the club. I hear we have a few really talented young players coming up too, and I am looking forward to finding out more about them and their teams.”
Kings Langley also confirmed a partnership with reusable period wear company WUKA on Friday, February 14, to improve accessibility to football for their girls’ football teams, who all received a free pair of WUKA period pants through the partnership.
