A Kings Langley-based accountancy practice held its annual golf charity day, raising much-needed funds for charity.
Tom Sterling, director of Sterling Accounting Solutions held the charity day to raise funds for DENs, a charity for those facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion.
The event recently saw more than 70 golfers, made up of clients and guests, including Luther Blissett OBE DL, and a total of 90 people overall at Moor Park Golf Club.
The accountancy business is a frequent supporter of the charity and has worked alongside DENs in previous charity events like go yellow week and donating essentials. This year the business decided they wanted to go further with their help for the charity and have raised more than £4,000
Clients that participated in the charity event sponsored the holes as well as the nearest-to-the-pin and longest drive competitions, and team and individual winners.
Speaking on the event Tom said: “Our charity golf day for DENs has been a great success and everyone has such a good day, the course and the venue have been amazing and seeing everyone enjoy themselves while helping to raise a fantastic total for DENs has been brilliant! Planning for next year’s event has already begun!”
