Apologies for the blog silence over the past fortnight.
I’ve been busy with the launch of my VISION franchise business which launched at the British Franchise Show at the Excel Arena this weekend.
It’s the biggest business project I’ve ever taken on and the weekend was the culmination of more than seven months of hard work, stress, laughs, tears (nearly) and focus.
In the run up to the show a lot of things didn’t go to plan. My stress levels were seriously tested but I’m pleased to say we came out the other side smiling.
Our idea was well received at the event. We had many solid enquiries from people who we hope to see when we hold our discovery days in March.
The ‘serious’ people understood the value of what we are offering. A fully supported franchise which does half the work for you, allows you to work flexible hours from home and has an entry level fee of under £10,000.
I believe wholeheartedly that our offer has the potential to change a lot of people’s lives for the better.
The show also taught me loads. Like freebies on the stand attract totally the wrong type of person.
If someone is motivated purely by bagging a pen and handful of sweets they’re not likely to be seriously interested in investing a franchise.
Our stand was by the hall’s cafe and chill out area. If you ever find yourself exhibiting at a show this is a great spot to be in, right at the heart of the exhibition.
We’ve already booked up for next year and I’m looking for other exhibitions and shows to have a presence at.
In particular parenting and sales opportunity shows would both work well for us I feel.
There’s certainly no rest for the team and I as we are now getting prepared for our discovery days where people can learn more about the VISION offer at our HQ in Apsley.
I’d like to sign off by saying a big thank you to all of the people who have helped get VISION up and running.
Thanks for reading,
Nik
