On His Magazine’s Secret Service

Published on: 15th September 2015   |   By: Nik Allen

I’ve felt like James Bond for the past few weeks.

No I don’t have an Aston Martin, I don’t drink Martinis and my assistant isn’t called Q.

But just like 007 himself I’ve been working on a Top Secret project codename – His Magazine’s Secret Service.Top Secret

For the past two months my team and I have been toiling away at an off the radar location on a really exciting new project.

It’s still under wraps at present but all will be revealed next month and when it does I think it’s going to be one of our most exciting products EVER.

It will change lives for the better, it will provide communities with something really interesting to read and for some it could be the best decision they’ve ever made.

So much hard work and thought has gone into this already that I’m totally confident and assured this will be a winner.

It’s the culmination of my experience in publishing and that of my team’s. We tallied those years up the other day and it was an incredible seven decades of publishing experience around our table in our mission control room. That’s a lot of industry knowledge.

Away from the cloak and dagger world of espionage I thoroughly enjoyed the Palace to Palace bike ride on Sunday. I completed it safe and sound and hats off to the organisers for doing such a great job for a brilliant cause.

My teammates Mark, Paul and Jerry all did really well and with our yellow My Watford News tops on we certainly were some of the more noticeable cyclists taking part.

Watch this space for an update on our hush hush project because when we announce it officially you’ll be the first to know.

Thanks for reading,

Nik
