There will be joy around Watford tonight as goals from Welbeck and Deulofeu saw the Hornets beat Championship side Swansea City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
After Saturday’s 8-0 thrashing to Manchester City, it was important for Quique Sanchez Flores’ side to bounce back and that they did with a 2-1 win under the floodlights.
Watford’s strikers found themselves on the end of a number ofchances in the first quarter of the game, but Swansea’s keeper kept them out.

A near instant impact from substitute Deulofeu gave Watford the winning goal on the 79th minute as he fizzed the ball across the box to a lurking Pereyra who couldn’t miss. 2-1.
Watford progress into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup and fans will be hoping their club can continue last season’s cup form into this season.
Watford will be playing away at Wolves on Saturday, September 28 in the Premier League. 3pm kick off.
