A game full of action finished with Kings making it two in two since Dean Barker’s resignation from his managerial role.
Fans were delighted with four goals, two red cards and aninjured referee in a game which Kings dominated and scored some impressive goals in a 3-1 win against Hitchin Town.
A solid first half saw Kings go into the break 1-0 up by a great finish by Max Hercules.
A throw in on the 17th minute saw both Weiss and Hercules going for the ball, but the ball fell to Max and his powerful strike was too much for Hitchin’s goalkeeper.
Two minutes later, Kings thought they scored their second goal of the game as Weiss tapped the ball into an empty net, but Coldicott-Stevens, who assisted Mitchell was offside.
A collision in the air between a Kings and Hitchin player saw the referee produce a red card as Hitchin were reduced to ten men just before the end of the first half.
The Lango finally got the second goal of the game just four minutes into the second half with another impressive finish but this time from Harry Crawford. 2-0.
Celebrations for the home fans didn’t last long as Hitchin halved the deficit with a goal two minutes after Crawford’s strike. 2-1.
Kings finished the game on the 68th minute with the fourth goal of the game. 3-1.
Just two minutes before the end, Hitchin’s manager Mark Burke was shown a red card after criticising the referee’s decision.
Kings will be hoping to continue their form in their next game against Stourbridge with kick off at 3pm.
