Kings Langley FC have continued the expansion of their female teams by entering an all-girls’ side into the West Herts Youth League.
The club has teams in eight different age groups for girls aged six to 15.
Recently, they announced a new partnership with Hemel Hempstead-based company Healthy U Football and Fitness.
Healthy U director and Kings Langley FC’s head of girls’ football Karl Thomas said: “My daughter has played here for the last few years, and I’ve always been impressed by the club’s commitment to providing opportunities for girls.
“I’m really looking forward to combining the work of Healthy U and the football club in what I hope will be an exciting time for all involved.”
Chairman Darren Eliot said: “Over the last few years, we’ve made great strides in improving our girls’ football offer, and the youth committee were unanimous in their excitement for this next chapter and the partnership with Healthy U.”
The club’s Under 14s team became joint winners of the She Can Play Tournament in 2021 alongside Chelmsford City Girls.
