The owners of a new gift shop on Kings Langley High Street have thanked the community after receiving “overwhelming” support from customers.
Nelly Twig, which offers a range of hand-picked gifts, recently opened its doors to customers on the site of former shop Home Chic Home. It is co-owned by Elaine Reed and Jaki Russell.
Elaine said the response they’ve had from villagers since the opening has been fantastic.
She said: “The response has been overwhelming from customers. We hand-picked all of our products, resulting in a beautiful retail experience.
“Our concessions give small businesses owned by local ladies the opportunity to sell from a High Street shop.
“Altogether, this creates a personal customer service and every week there is always something new.”
Some of the brands on offer at the store include Coach House and Kate Hoxton, as well as a number of smaller pop-up brands.
The store will be open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday.
