Rickmansworth’s Waitrose supermarket is set to receive a major facelift.
The shop on Homestead Road is currently undergoing renovation. It will stay open during the works and customer disruption will be kept to a minimum.
The refit will see some new additions to the store, including a larger range of John Lewis homeware products, a bigger selection of wine and a new sushi bar staffed by specialists.
Lee Culham, deputy branch manager at Waitrose Rickmansworth, said: “We want to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers. Following the refresh, we’ll be offering everything from new dry aged beef to a team of in-house sushi specialists.
“Elsewhere, we’ll introduce a bigger range of John Lewis homeware and gifts, an improved wine selection, and a greater variety of products on our in-store counters.”
Waitrose’s online click and collect service will be temporarily paused, and is expected to return when the renovation is complete in November.
