New group opening in Kings Langley aims to support parents and children

All Saints Church in Kings Langley is opening a new group aimed at providing parents and their little ones a place to play and socialise with other parents in the village.

Father James, from the All Saints, created the Tiny Tots group because he wanted to give parents the opportunity to use the space to unwind.

He explained: “It is giving parents the opportunity to get away from their home life and come and enjoy an informal meet up with parents in similar positions, whilst also allowing parents and their child a time to bond.

“The hope is people can become friends, swap ideas and just talk to people who are in a similar position. It’s a bit different to other groups and services we provide but as a church, we want to cater for all types of people.”

Father James was recently made the new vicar of the church and has said it has been great meeting people from the village and serving the community.

He added: “I have been getting on well. This group is the first thing that we are launching in my time and we are all excited. It has been good working with All Saints and the people in the community. We want to explore many ways of serving the wider community.”

The group will be at the church every Wednesday from 9.30am to 11am for little ones from 0 to three years of age.

All Saints Church can be found on Church Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8JS.
