Pinner High School is delighted to have completed their complex multiphase refurbishment programme.
It first began in 2015 before the school opened in 2016, and continued during their co occupation with Jubilee Academy and Avanti House School. By mid-2018, Pinner High were the sole occupants, but the school had not been refurbished.
Headteacher Chris Woolf said: “I am delighted that our facilities now reach the same high standards as our aspirations for the young people in our school. Every part of the building has been redecorated, we have brand new heating and water systems and new roofing and brand new equipment
“New kitchen and dining facilities, new cricket nets and inspiring Science laboratories and a wonderful new library space and computer science rooms mean that students at Pinner High have an inspiring environment in which to make the most of every opportunity they are offered. One of our Trailblazers referred to the completed refurbishment as ‘a real upgrade.’ Praise indeed!
“Our Sixth Form opened this month in newly refurbished space, with the addition of a ‘horsebox’ food servery, which has been a particular hit with students. Following GCSE results that were 24 per cent above the national average for top grades 9-7, it is a very exciting time at Harrow’s newest secondary school.”
