Kings Langley Community Choir (KLCC) performed to a packed house alongside Watford Phoenix Choir last month.
At St Mary’s Church in Watford High Street on Saturday, April 12, the choirs performed songs from a variety of genres including ABBA, The Beatles, and Elbow, as well as jazz and madrigal.
The concert concluded with a rendition of Bring Me Sunshine from both choirs and the audience.
A spokesperson for KLCC said: “Thanks go to all at Watford Phoenix Choir for their organisational skills and to St Mary’s Church. We couldn’t have produced these sounds without our musical directors, Becca Wilkins and David Halsted, so a huge thank you to them for their magical skills and for making the afternoon joint rehearsal so much fun.”
KLCC will next perform at Kings Langley Carnival on Saturday, June 21, and then at St Paul’s Church in Chipperfield on Friday, June 27, in a concert with the Rickmansworth Players’ Choir.
