A woman born and bred in Rickmansworth has recently been announced as the new chief executive for a hospice based in Northwood. Lindsey Fealey took the role on at the Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) at the start of April and told My News Magazine that she was extremely excited at the challenge ahead and hospices are very close to her heart. She said: “It is going to be challenging but I am really looking forward to it. Having worked for eight years at the Florence Nightingale hospice in Aylesbury, I do know what the role is about. “Having experienced family and friends who have benefited from hospice care, I appreciate just what a difference can be made to both patients and families at this difficult time.” For more on this, please read the next My Ricky News out on May 1.
