In the past, we have honoured people from all over our news patches whose dedication to making their communities better for everyone we feel is deserving of commendation.
The Outstanding Bravery Award recognises individuals who have shown courage in the face of a tremendous challenge where others may have wavered.
At the last event in 2022, inspirational teen Belle Creighton-Hudson received the award for her efforts in helping to stop a young man from taking his own life on several occasions.
