MUSICAL MAGIC: Husband and wife duo open new community music hub in Pinner

Published on: 30th October 2024   |   By: The Newsdesk   |   Category: Uncategorized

Two Pinner residents have opened a community hub for locals to share their love for music and make it accessible for all.

Yanice and Orlando Bonzi’s new venture, called Music & Life, has now opened on Pinner High Street and offers musical services and activities. This includes selling instruments, offering music lessons and instruments to rent, and organising workshops, concerts and jam sessions.

Speaking to Pinnernews, Orlando said: “It feels amazing and rewarding. It’s even better than we expected. Pinner is such a great community, and we get to meet with lots of music enthusiasts.

“As music teachers, we see the struggle students face finding reasonably priced instruments and support. We hope to serve the community the best way we can. We have selected decent products at a good price without compromising quality. We test every instrument before sales and set up to a good standard when necessary.”

The hub offers jazz sessions on Sundays and concerts during the week, sharing the talents of musicians from Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Ireland and all across the globe.

Orlando continued: “Pinner is such a musical place, and although it’s been tough and has taken its time, it’s been challenging and exciting, and a great learning path. We are always adjusting, adapting and improving.

“As for our education philosophy, we strive to create a loving environment for the students to grow and blossom, in seeking beauty, truth and goodness in life through the art of music. More than merely teaching the practicality of music, it is our mission as musicians and educators to make a positive impact on the future of the world, by spreading the love for music and nurturing the character of our next generation. We use Suzuki Method for violin and piano courses, which shares a similar philosophy supported with a systematic training.”
