The streets were alive with the sound of music as the popular Pinner Music Festival made a return for its 59th year.
Held by the Pinner Parish Church, there was an exciting line-up of concerts from June 9 to 14.
This included a seminar and six lunchtime concerts to raise money for chosen charity St Luke’s Hospice.
BBC Radio 3 presenter Ian Skelly presented the panel discussion, joined by musicians Emma Abbate, Heidi Fardell, Paul Jeanes and Julian Perkins.
Celebrating their 50th anniversary in style was the Pinner Parish Community Choir, directed by Martin Singleton and with Paul Jeanes on the organ.
Piano Duo Emma Abbate and Julian Perkins showcased their talent with their performance which provided a beat to get listeners’ toes tapping.
Taking visitors on a “whistlestop tour of musical history” was Sounds Historical, which journeyed through time to showcase both familiar and unfamiliar names and instruments.
Professor Anthony J Pinching shared: “[A] rich and diverse music performed by superb artists in Pinner at very reasonable prices.”
