Staff at one of Pinner’s most popular pubs are celebrating after it won two prestigious awards recently.
The Queen’s Head was accredited by Best Bar None for the third consecutive year, and won Best Pub 2018/19 in Harrow and Brent.
Landlord Sean White said the award was a great honour after the pub was named Best Independent Bar 2017/18 last year.
He said the award was a testament to the high-quality training staff have received and their great commitment and professionalism.
Sean said he was delighted at the news.
He said: “We seem to be on a roll. We reached the semi-final of the licensee of the year award from the British Institute of Innkeepers so we’re climbing the ladder a bit higher as we reached the quarter final of the competition last year.
“I’m very proud of team. We have a solid management structure, a strong direction and seem to be going from strength. I want people to see a job here career rather than something that is temporary and transient”.
