MISSING RINGS: Police issue appeal to find jewellery reported stolen in Watford

Published on: 16th August 2021   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace several rings which have been reported as stolen in Watford.

The three gold rings went missing between Monday, August 2 and Tuesday, August 3 but the circumstances around their disappearance are not clear at this time.

They are described as:

  • An 18ct gold engagement ring with five large diamonds
  • An 18ct solid gold wedding band, with ‘STU’ engraved on the inside
  • An 18ct gold eternity ring, with diamonds half way round it.

PC Robert Wilson, who is investigating, said: “These rings are of great sentimental value and I am keen to locate them for the victim and her family.

“We’re still working to establish the circumstances around the rings going missing, but are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have come across them. Have you seen anyone wearing similar items recently, or seen them being advertised for sale? If so, please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to please email robert.wilson@herts.police.uk
