Six Bushey pubs were overwhelmed on Saturday, January 19 by the amazing response to the first ever Music Crawl to be organised by the Festival.
Organisers were delighted by the number of supporters who visited all six pubs to enjoy the seven different music acts throughout the afternoon and evening.
Bobbi Gosen was one such fan who said: “It was really good fun. All the bands were different, and it was lovely to see so many people there.”
Following huge audiences at the Three Crowns, Royal Oak, Horse and Chains and King Stag, so many people arrived at The Swan, in Park Road, that the Irish folk act, Missing The Ferry, performed to around 60 enthusiastic people outside the pub.
The other performers who were giving their time for free to support the Festival, were Keith Bailey, A Cat Called Dave, Heath, Sarah Vista Will Russell and Back to Square One.
The event also saw the launch of the Festival Crowdfunder appeal which aims to raise funds towards the cost of staging Bushey Festival in the Park on July 7, 2019. To donate, visit crowdfunder.co.uk/bushey-festival-in-the-park-2019
Event organisers Liz and Louise said ‘’We were amazed by the response. The aim was to support local pubs and provide great music for appreciative audiences and we’d like to thank everyone who supported us the event and donated so generously to the bucket collection.”
