Harrow Rugby Football Club (RFC) enjoyed its busiest day of the season on January 28.
A total of 200 players under the age of 12 descended on the club’s pitches, including 130 enthusiastic young guests from Ruislip RFC.
Harrow RFC had to implement professional car parking management to handle the influx of so many vehicles, whilst the volunteer kitchen crew did a remarkable job of producing more than 200 hotdogs and dozens of bacon rolls.
Club spokesperson Neil MacDonald said: “After several years of declining numbers since COVID-19, we are seeing a real increase across the junior sections, which is very exciting!”
The club wishes to express a special thanks to the 60-plus volunteers who made the event possible.
