Footballer Gary Mabbutt will host an event at the Radlett Centre on Tuesday, March 21 to reflect on his career.
The evening will be presented by Hotspur Stadium presenter, Paul Coyte.
The former England International player will take to the stage at 7.30 pm where he will be looking back at video archives, recalling the big moments in his career, and answering questions from the audience.
Gary played for Tottenham Hotspur from 1982 until 1998, and during that time, the club won the UEFA Cup in 1984. He appeared in the FA Cup Finals as the winning 1991 captain.
Ahead of the event, Gary told RADLETTNEWS: “It should be great, we do a lot of events around the country and overseas. It’s quite nice to be doing one on my doorstep in my local community as I live in Hertfordshire. The events are really enjoyable, meeting up with Spurs fans who love the club. It’s a nice night out.”
Organiser Mike Rollo: “It should be a really enjoyable evening, especially for those who follow football in particular. He’s what’s known as a Spurs legend; he is an incredible sportsperson, having been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes – he’s become an ambassador for those with diabetes.”
Standard tickets cost £30 and are available here.
VIP meet-and-greet tickets cost £60 and can be bought by emailing mike.rollo@outlook.com or calling 07788 130 005. You’ll get the chance to meet Gary at the pre-show reception and have a photo taken with him. There will also be a buffet, drinks and reserved seats in the front three rows.
