A man has died in hospital after being found injured at a golf club at Croxley Green near Watford. The 65-year-old was attacked at in the car park at the West Hertfordshire Golf Club on Saturday night. He died yesterday morning (Tuesday) at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, with his family around him. A 51-year-old man from St Albans has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. He’s been bailed until August 17. East of England Ambulance Service Richard Dunne said: “We were called at 10.46pm. Two ambulances attended to the man in his 60s. “A police officer was on scene carrying out CPR. “Crews worked to stabilise the man before he was taken by road ambulance to St Mary~s Hospital in Paddington. “The patient was in a critical condition. He had suffered head injuries. “We were on scene for about 40 minutes and got to hospital at 12.20am on Sunday, where the patient went to the accident and emergency department.”
