A road in Kings Langley is currently closed to the public, with a major police presence due to a “serious incident”.
Officers were called to the scene on Railway Terrace at 12.33am this morning (Tuesday, September 17).
Police have yet to confirm the nature of the incident, but a photo taken by Kings News shows two police vehicles on the road and a forensics tent.
Residents have spoken to our reporters and alleged that they heard gunshots at the time of the incident, and rumours have been spread on social media that a man has been killed in a shooting.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “If anyone believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious, have dashcam footage or information about either incident, they are asked to contact police as soon as possible.”
