There’s nothing that says Christmas quite like a carol concert.
The award-winning Jubilate ladies’ choir is hosting a festive family evening of contemporary choral music and audience carols at Christ Church Chorleywood on Saturday, December 13.
Taking place at 5.30pm, the concert is one of the highlights of the Christmas period. The choir will perform old favourites by John Rutter and some more up-tempo numbers, including an arrangement of We Wish You the Merriest. There will be plenty of opportunities to join in with traditional carols, as well as some not so traditional.
Talking to Chorleywood News, choir member Karen Bonnamy said: “Last year, the concert was an enormous success and we hope that this year will be the same. There is always a lovely atmosphere and we will be providing mulled wine and the odd mince pie!”
The choir is continuing to excel, with their recent achievements including winning the Gold Cup for Most Memorable Choir at the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts for the second time.
