Ostrowski selected as Labour’s Watford parliamentary candidate

Published on: 18th January 2018   |   By: Jason Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

It was standing room only in West Watford recently as over 300 local Labour Party members voted following a hustings of short listed parliamentary candidates for the now highly winnable seat for Labour in Watford. Watford is Labour’s 37th most winnable seat in the UK.

Winning by a large margin was Chris Ostrowski who stood for Labour in the June 2017 General Election and reduced the Conservative majority of around 10,000 to just 2,092.  He won the selection against three other candidates including Mike Hedges who was promoted by Momentum and the national trade union UNITE.

Chris Ostrowski said, “I am humbled by the huge support I have received in this contest. We are now united and the Watford Labour Party is campaigning on full throttle as there could be a General Election any time. This weak and incompetent Tory Government is letting the people of Watford down. It’s time for a change”
