Plans to build a new film set on a site in Chalfont St Giles have been put forward to Buckinghamshire County Council.
Developers are seeking permission to construct a film set including parking, storage and set construction units on the site of the manor house in Newland Park.
The set will be used to shoot a tv series for a US Production company, though there is no information on which programme it’s going to be.
Developers have asked permission for a 12 month planning application, this will allow for any COVID-19 related delays.
The filming would take place over a 16-week period involving 80 day and night shoots, following a three month preparation period.
Developers have reassured at the end of the filming the area will be cleared out and brought to its original state.
They also mentioned in the planning application that neighbouring properties will not be impacted.
