Members of a local church carried out a full litter pick in Croxley as part of a national volunteering programme organised to mark the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
On Monday, May 8, hundreds of people and organisations across the country came together to volunteer for charity or help out in their local community, and St Oswald’s Church on Malvern Way was no exception.
A group of 22 people scoured the streets, parks, woods and alleyways of Croxley for two hours and gathered multiple sacks of rubbish.
The litter pickers were rewarded with an array of cakes, biscuits and drinks on their return.
As a registered Eco Church bronze award winner, St Oswald’s is looking to pursue many more environmentally friendly initiatives and activities in the future.
