A popular Watford FC focussed podcast is providing Hornets fans with an entertaining listen and insight to players past and present.
The Do Not Scratch Your Eyes podcast was launched in October 2020 by avid Watford fans and friends Carl James and Justin Beattie.
Now with over 40 episodes discussing all things Watford FC and regularly featuring special guests including Luther Blissett and commentator Bill Leslie, the podcast is stronger than ever.
Justin said the podcast initially came out of being bored over lockdown and a love for football.
He said: “It kind of began out of there not being any football during lockdown so Carl and myself decided there was a space for another Watford podcast that was more opinion based rather than analytical.
“We slowly started asking guests on and we’ve since had some former players and Sky commentators.
“It’s snowballed to the point now where we are doing three hours of podcasting a month and getting some good feedback from listeners.”
Justin added that the pair are really enjoying it and have no plans of stopping anytime soon.
He said: “It has brought us and right-minded fans together during lockdown when there wasn’t any football.
“We are both really enjoying it, it’s great talking to some of the old players and getting their memories, hearing what it was like to be in the team.”
