From blockbusters to TV shows, the picturesque village of Pinner is no stranger to stardom, and it looks like it could once again be back on our screens.
Around Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6, residents spotted a film crew on Avenue Road.
Several crew members were seen operating multiple production vehicles as residents tried to sneak a peek at what was going on.
While it remains a mystery as to what was being filmed, there are reports that crews were recording for a new Netflix show.
Residents also commented on the size of the production, with “loads of personnel” seen lining the streets.
Though it may be a while before residents see the village on their screens again, Pinner is no stranger to the thrill of showbiz.
Scenes for The Theory of Everything, starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones, were filmed outside St John the Baptist Church on Pinner High Street.
The village was also used as a filming location for popular sitcoms My Hero and The Inbetweeners.
