For the third year in a row, Northwood resident and hypnotherapist Kate Hoyle has been named London’s Hypnotherapist of the Year.
Kate’s journey into the field began close to home, when her daughter successfully underwent hypnotherapy after being diagnosed with clinical anxiety and depression at age 12.
This experience inspired Kate to retrain so that she could support others.
Talking to NORTHWOOD&RUISLIPnews, Kate said: “Having seen the life-changing impact hypnotherapy can achieve, I’m delighted that it is becoming a sought-after intervention and am honoured to be recognised for my work in this exciting field of therapy.”
Kate explained that hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and focused attention, where clients remain fully aware and in control.
Judges were impressed by her commitment and dedication to clients’ wellbeing and the breadth of her work, spanning from children and teens through to senior executives, supporting people from age six to those in their mid-70s.
