A Croxley allotments have announced the launch of a contest to see which of its users can grow the highest sunflower.
Barton Way Allotments handed out the seeds a few weeks ago, with regular checks set to be made throughout the year until a final measuring in September to find the winner.
Organiser Chrissie said: “We thought it would be a great way to encourage the kids to get involved and of course the sunflowers will be great for the pollinators!”
