Residents will have the chance to pay their respects to all those who gave their lives in the line of duty at the Remembrance Sunday event in Rickmansworth on Sunday, November 9.
The annual parade will assemble in the car park of Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Park Road, before marching west along Rickmansworth High Street from 2pm.
The parade will arrive at St Mary’s Church at 2.15pm, where there will be an Act of Remembrance by the War Memorial.
Batchworth Community Council (BCC) will provide refreshments for residents at the Royal British Legion on Ebury Road from 3pm.
Speaking to RICKYnews, chair of BCC councillor Andrea Fraser said: “The parade is more than a route through our High Street — it’s a living act of memory. When our veterans, cadets and serving personnel march in uniform through our town, they give a public, tangible form to our promise: those who left and never returned are not forgotten.
“BCC is determined to support the local Royal British Legion who coordinate this parade to ensure this important tradition continues.”
