An event which gave landlords an opportunity to benefit from expert property industry advice has proved a huge success. Multi-award winning estate agents, Gibbs Gillespie organised the evening which was held in late April at Pinner Village Hall. Gibbs Gillespie’s Group Lettings Manager, Nick Edwards, said: “We came up with the idea simply as a way of sharing our expertise and helping landlords and potential investors. “There’s so much change happening within the lettings industry that we wanted to help people be more informed and up to date with the developments.” Mark Cassidy from Day, Smith and Hunter Chartered Accountants and Rory Cleary from Precise Mortgages were also on hand to share their respective expertise. Nick added: “The event was standing room only and more than 100 landlords and property investors attended. The feedback we’ve received has been excellent. “We had a panel of experts covering a range of subjects including portfolio planning, property management and the tax and legal implications of being a domestic landlord. “At Gibbs Gillespie we’re always looking for ways to build relationships with clients and be of service to them, whatever their property needs.” Following the success of the evening a follow up is being planned towards the end of the year.
