A café in Croxley Green has made a positive start to the new year by relaunching a popular community event.
The Kitchen Croxley, on Watford Road is restarting the Knit and Natter group on Thursday mornings, where residents can come along, enjoy knitting, coffee and cake and build relationships in the community.
The knit and natter events are open to anyone and can help anyone who may be struggling with feelings of loneliness this January.
Linda Anderson, owner of The Kitchen, said: “Do you enjoy knitting? I love it, and find it very relaxing! Apparently, I’m not alone as it’s been found to increase serotonin levels and help with stress and anxiety.
“We’re restarting our little Knit and Natter group on a Thursday morning at The Kitchen. If you’re interested let us know or just come along!”
The Kitchen is looking forward to hosting a number of events in 2022 including Knit and Knatter on Thursdays, Compassionate Cafe and The Dial Up open mic event. For more information search ‘The Kitchen Croxley’ on Facebook and visit the events tab.
