It’s that time of year again! Kings Langley Parish Council is inviting locals to send in their nominations for this year’s annual community awards.
The aim of the scheme is to recognise residents and acknowledge those who have made an exceptional and valuable contribution to the community in the parish of Kings Langley in the last year, or have been a Kings Langley resident who has excelled or reached an exceptional achievement.
The scheme categories this year are:
- Improving Lives of Residents
- Action in the Community
- Cleaner and Greener Action
- Young Persons
- Business in the Community
- Lifetime Achievement.
The lifetime achievement award will be given only for a truly outstanding contribution and is rarely awarded.
An awards sub-committee will review the nominations and submit their recommendations to the council for approval.
The committee will look at what the nominee has done, how they have done it and what the impact has been on the village when selecting winners.
The council will accept nominations until the end of February. Nomination forms can be obtained from the parish council office or online from their website.
