Two hospices are teaming up to form their first ever a 5-a-side football tournament.
The Michael Sobell Hospice Charity in Northwood and Harlington Hospice will be holding the event on May 21 later this year, to be hosted at Goals Ruislip sports complex.
The hospices want individuals and businesses to put forward teams for the tournament, with the top three sides winning medals and the competition champions earning themselves a well-deserved trophy.
The entry price for a team of eight players (five on the field and three substitutes) is £400, which will also cover a meal from the burger bar, with a cash bar also being on site. Supporters will also be able to make use of the burger bar and the facility’s restaurant.
All money raised at the event will go towards helping the hospices continue their work in day-to-day free palliative care.
